The City of Walker is receiving public comments on Walker Police Department body-worn cameras and camera policy. You can submit your comments by mail at Attn: Police Chief Anderley, City of Walker, PO Box 207, by email at panderley@ci.walker.mn.us, or in person at the Walker City Council meeting taking place on Monday, April 1, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the Walker Fire Hall meeting room, located at 701 Elm Avenue. The Walker Police Department is made up of four sworn peace officers. The Department uses the Cass County Sheriff's Office Dispatch. After a few rings at 218-547-5507, your call will be transferred to a Cass County dispatcher, who will contact the Walker Police Officer on duty. All of our officers, including the Chief of Police, are on the road. There are no Police Department administrative staff in the office.
